Took the gamble last Friday of changing my day off this week from Wednesday to Tuesday and it paid off. A decent couple of hours 1.30-3.30pm at Shoreham. Wasn't all that windy when I arrived so reluctantly pulled out the 5.9 but just as I was about to start rigging up the wind seemed to pick up a notch so I took a chance and rigged the 5.2. Correct decision - with downhaul adjustments for the increasing wind this was just right for the whole session.

Conditions were generally good, with some decent ramps pushing in for jumping and a spot of backside riding (although nothing like as good as at Daymer Bay!). Only problem was the feckin cold. Started off with the gimp hat (for the first time ever) but by covering my mouth it was really restricting my breathing, so took it off after a couple of runs. Was fine without but still the general coldness really stopped it being a "go-for-it" session.

Anyway, still good to get out, and would be a 4 star session but because of the low temps only 3.

Thank you Steve for the borrowed harness line! (my old starboard one snapped clean in two when landing a big-ish jump flat and hooked in grrrr)
